  • Byron Bay Lighthouse
    Built in 1901- one of the signature features of the coast located 300m south of Australia’s easternmost point Cape Byron. It is 22m high and offers fantastic views of the coast 
  • Byron Bay Headland Reserve and Walking Track
    Trails from the lighthouse take in Wategos Beach to the north and Captain Cook’s Lookout to the south. This is an excellent place for viewing humpback whales during their migration.
  • Adventure activities
    Including tandem hang-gliding, parachute jumps, sea-kayaking, mountain bike and horse-riding.
  • Excellent beaches
    There are a total of 37, the main ones being Wategos Beach, Main Beach, Broken Beach and The Pass. Nudists are catered for at a beach 500m west of Belongil Creek.
