Australia and at its heart is the vibrant city of Coffs Harbour. Bordered by the clear warm waters of the Pacific Ocean and the luxurious rainforests of the Great Dividing Range, Coffs Harbour is noted for banana plantations and fishing, its beautiful beaches and pleasant climate.
Just 20 minutes from Coffs Harbour marina you can snorkel and scuba dive in the Solitary Islands Marine Park where the warm waters teem with more than 550 fish species and 90 coral varieties. Coffs Harbour is also a major centre for adventure sports, including whitewater rafting, abseiling, surfing, game fishing, canoeing, hiking and skydiving.
Along the coast from Scotts Head to Red Rock are prominent headlands on which to picnic and watch whales during their migration May to October. There are numerous crescent-shaped beaches for swimming, surfing and relaxing. Inland are vine-clad rainforests to explore including the World Heritage-listed Dorrigo National Park with its Skywalk stretching 70 metres out over the treetops and walking trails through the forest understory.
