Today it is Sydney’s historic old town quarter, where visitors can enjoy great shopping, some of Sydney’s finest food and stunning harbour views.
Diverse attractions in and around The Rocks include the Museum of Contemporary Art, The Merchants House, Susannahs Place, Discovery Museum, Cadman's Cottage and the Dawes Point Battery. Enjoy free entertaiment on weekends and at festival times, such as outdoor concerts, street theatre and live music in local pubs, two of which claim to be Sydney's oldest.
