We live in an old two-storey coach house situated in the upper Hunter Valley 22km north of Scone on the New England Highway. Our home was built in 1840 and used as a coaching inn until the turn of the century. It is nestled in the foothills of the Liverpool Ranges, with lovely views of surrounding hills and farmland. We have 100 acres with cattle, sheep, goats, horses, geese and chooks. Our home is very comfortable with log fires and fuel stove in winter and swimming pool and cool gardens in summer, full of antiques and old world charm. We offer tea and coffee facilities, lounge with TV and open fire, Devonshire teas. Luncheon and dinner in our restaurant. Scone is the Horse Capital of Australia - featuring Horse Week Festival in May, other local interests include Hunter Valley vineyards, Burning Mountain, Glenbourne Dam and bushwalking. We will meet guests at Scone. Facilities also available for animals. A paradise for artists. Campervans welcome. Credit cards
