Bli Bli is located just south of
Nambour on the
Sunshine Coast,
Queensland. The name means ‘many swamp oak trees’ in the native tounge, which probably refers to the renowned Maroochy Wet Lands Sanctuary.
If you go to Bli Bli, make sure you stop at the sanctuary and walk the boardwalks through the swamps and mangroves. Other attractions in Bli Bli are targeted to the tourist, and whilst a little kitsch, are fun all the same.
