Flanked with beautiful white sand and pumping surf, Bulcock epitomises the beaches found on the Sunshine Coast. The beach was named after Robert Bulcock, a Brisbane politician who bought 277 acres of land in 1875, including the town area of present day
Caloundra.
The beach is patrolled seven days a week, from September to April. Exercise due caution on Bulcock beach, the water surrounding Caloundra Bar is extremely dangerous, do not swim here unless a lifesaving patrol on duty as the waters are tide affected.
