Bundall is a suburb of the
Gold Coast,
Queensland, located 3km from
Surfers Paradise. It is also home to a number of major city landmarks such as the Gold Coast Arts Centre.
Originally the site for the Bundall Sugar Plantation, the land was later sub-divided and used for dairy farming. Bundall today has a number of attractions such as the Evandale Sculpture Walk, Gold Coast Turf Club the scene of the Carlton Prime Ministers Cup draws, and the Historic Museum. Head further north to visit major shopping warehouses and furniture stores. It is thought that Bundall borrowed its name from an Aboriginal word for prickly vine.
