Open 9am–5pm every day except Christmas day (last entry 4pm). Visit Brisbane's unique sub-tropical zoo, set on 20 acres of award-winning gardens. See Australian and exotic animals in superb natural habitat enclosures. Touch koalas and take photos at daily koala feeding times. Feed friendly kangaroos and deer in walk-through enclosures. See monkeys, baboons, water buffalo, camels, wombats, snakes, dingoes, echidnas, emus, possums and many more. Also visit Friendship Farm designed for the children where they can touch and pat sheep, calves and tiny day-old chickens. Situated just 28km north of Brisbane. Follow the Bruce Highway north travelling towards the Sunshine Coast and take the Boundary Road exit off the highway following the Alma Park Zoo signs from there. Palm Cafe, picnic facilities and barbecues available for use. Secure internal carpark. Wheelchair accessible
