Innisfail has one of the best collections of Art Deco Buildings in Australia and a self-guided Town Walk brochure can be picked up from the Innisfail Information Centre.
Pristine beaches such as Etty Bay, Flying Fish Point, Cowley Beach and Kurrimine Beach are just a short drive from the town. 27km west of Innisfail is the beautiful Wooroonooran National Park, with walking trails through the Misty Mountains and the newly established Mamu Canopy Walkway. Other major attractions in the region include Paronella Park, voted number 1 in the RACQ's 150 Things You Must Do in Queensland in 2009, the Johnstone River Crocodile Park, Murdering Point Tropical Fruit Winery, Mena Creek Eco Gardens and the Australian Sugar Industry Museum.
