Kilcoy Travel Guide
Kilcoy accommodation, Kilcoy activities and attractions, Kilcoy maps, transportation to and around Kilcoy - the ALL NEW Jasons Kilcoy Destination Travel Guide is your complete visitor guide for Kilcoy.
Kilcoy lies just north of Lake Somerset at the base of the Conondale Range, in the
Sunshine Coast hinterland. The hills around Kilcoy are traditionally the home of the mythical Yowie, Australia's equivalent of Bigfoot or the Yeti. There is a large wooden statue of the creature in town.

Enjoy the picturesque drive around Lake Somerset and picnic overlooking the dam. You can sip the fruit of the grape at local wineries, or take a 4WD though the Jimna State Forest. The spectacular Glasshouse Mountains are close by and
Maleny makes a popular day trip, with its cafes and boutique shopping.
Woodford is 21 km east of Kilcoy and hosts one of
Australia's largest music festivals: the Woodford Folk Festival, held each year between December 27 and New Year's Day.
