Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame, which showcases the history and the culture of life in rural Australia. Since its opening in 1988, over 1 million people have passed through the doors.
Among the Outback experience available in Longreach are horse and buggy rides, visits to working sheep stations, experiences with Outback people, river cruises and helicopter flights. Longreach was one of the founding centres for Qantas, and vistors can view a decommissioned Qantas Boeing 747-200 aircraft at the Qantas Founders Outback Museum.
