Miara a small fishing village is 43km north of Bundaberg on the northern bank of the Kolan River in Coral Coast Country Queensland.
The Miara area is very well renowned with locals who flock to the area every weekend to take advantage of the fantastic fishing. There's great fishing at the mouth of the Kolan River which is just upstream.
The Baffle Creek and its tributaries provide many kilometres of waterways for fishing, crabbing and boating The nearby Norval Park has a beautiful secluded beach and BBQ area. Littabella is another pleasant area which offers quiet fishing and shady she oak covered picnic spots.
