On Sunday 17 May, it’s your chance to get into the swim of things at the annual Noosa Blue Water Swim. Go the distance in the 2km or 1km ocean swim, or take a more leisurely paddle in the 500m Triangle Swim along Noosa Main Beach. With 
crystal clear water and mild subtropical temperatures, swimming in Noosa is a must for any visitor. Combine this with an action-packed atmosphere, and thousands of participants and spectators, and you have a fantastic autumn sporting event.
May is also the time Noosa celebrates its beautiful river setting with the Riverfest Regatta on 16-17 May. It’s your chance to row, fish or sail on one of Australia’s most picturesque waterways and, if that 
sounds too energetic, just relax over a meal and cheer on the competitors from the bars and restaurants on Gympie Terrace. They are all just a stone’s throw from the Noosa River.
