Opals Down Under is home to one of the finest selections of Australian Opals and Opal Jewellery in Queensland. Catering for the whole family, learn much about opal history and myths from our staff, fossick for gemstones in our Scratch Patch gem fossicking area, see opals cut and polished (please book ahead).

For those looking for a more hands-on approach, a 2hr cutting lesson can be booked with one of our highly experienced opal cutters (conditions apply).

Open 7 days a week, from 9am to 5pm.
