North Stradbroke’s Point Lookout is one of three towns on the island and hosts some amazing views which frequently include playful dolphins and whales making the annual pilgrimage to the krill rich waters to the Antarctic with their young in Spring.
Approximately 20km from the township of
Amity Point, Point Lookout is an excellent fishing spot and the nearby Cylinder Beach is a prime spot for surfing, with crystal clear water and beautifully shaped waves with nine championship events each year.
