Fossicking: each visitor is provided with tools and a souvenir bag. They are escorted to the fossicking area by one of our friendly staff, where geological features of the area are explained. You are then shown what a thunderegg looks like and how and where to find it. Your guide then leaves you to fossick until you are ready to return. At this time, you can arrange to have eggs cut to reveal the beauty of the stones. You are welcome to browse through our shop and view the beauty of our Australian stones. Purchase a memento or a gift that is millions of years old. Our staff are delighted to answer all your queries on the different stones for sale. Some of the gemstone gift items include clocks, book-ends, spheres, coasters and chimes. Pewter items sold in the shop are all made on site. Native animal and heritage figurines, belt buckles, business card holders, teaspoons, bookmarks, coasters, napkin holders and letter openers are some of the exquisite items for sale. Selected items of jewellery are also on sale. Enclosed footwear required. Open 7 days 8.30am-4.30pm.
