Bronte Park Travel Guide

Bronte Park accommodation, Bronte Park activities and attractions, Bronte Park maps, transportation to and around Bronte Park - the ALL NEW Jasons Bronte Park Destination Travel Guide is your complete visitor guide for Bronte Park.

Bronte Park is midway between Hobart and Queenstown, close to the geographic centre of Tasmania. Once a construction town for the Nive River hydro-electric scheme, it is now a holiday village set amongst rolling mountains, with crystal clear waterways and an abundance of wildlife. Its location in the midst of excellent trout fishing lakes makes it a perfect base for fishermen, kayakers and bushwalkers. The original Hydro Electric Commission huts have been recycled as the Bronte Park Highland Village with chalets, a hostel and store and a licensed picnic ground.
