Moina Travel Guide
Moina accommodation, Moina activities and attractions, Moina maps, transportation to and around Moina - the ALL NEW Jasons Moina Destination Travel Guide is your complete visitor guide for Moina.
Moina is a small service centre located at the junction of the C132 and C136 roads on the route to
Cradle Mountain. The town offers quality accommodation and pleasant tearooms, and is the starting point for some interesting bushwalks. Cethana Bridge is located between Moina and
Gowrie Park at the base of the Cethana Dam and the start of Lake Barrington, the international rowing course. The drive through from
Sheffield towards Moina includes some of the most spectacular scenery in the state – Mount Roland, Mount Claude and Mount Vandyke are snowcapped in winter and bask in glorious sunsets in summer. From the Staverton intersection (C140) along the C136, the road descends 100 metres down through thick forest to the Cethana Bridge then climbs over 150 metres to Moina (at 625 metres above sea level).
