Mole Creek Travel Guide
Mole Creek accommodation, Mole Creek activities and attractions, Mole Creek maps, transportation to and around Mole Creek - the ALL NEW Jasons Mole Creek Destination Travel Guide is your complete visitor guide for Mole Creek.

This small town is the starting point for excursions into the Great Western Tiers mountain range, the limestone caves of the Mole Creek Karst National Park, and Devil's Gullet State Reserve, 40km from Mole Creek in one of Tasmania's United Nations-recognised World Heritage Areas. The creek gets its name from its frequent habit of disappearing underground.
Mole Creek is the centre of an important farming and forestry area, and is responsible for about one third of the state's honey production. The unique leatherwood honey, sold domestically and overseas, is produced from the blossom of the leatherwood tree, which grows only in Tasmanian rainforests. Mole Creek is noted for its abundance of Tasmanian devils, a small marsupial found only in Tasmania.
