Mole Creek Attractions

• King Solomon Cave
  Located 16km from Mole Creek township, the 228m long single cavern is a dry cave with excellent decorations. Inspection times are 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 4pm daily (closed Christmas Day).
• Marakoopa Cave
  Situated 11km from Mole Creek in the foothills of Western Bluff. Large complex of caverns containing worm display and gypsum formations, with a 457m section open for public display daily at 10am, 11.15am, 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm (closed Christmas Day).
• Bushwalking and hiking
  Go bushwalking in the Western Tiers. A large information bay at the western end of town outlines the numerous routes and provides picnic tables and shelter.
• Trowunna Wildlife Park
  See some Tasmanian native animals at Trowunna Wildlife Park, including Tasmanian devils, native cats, wombats and possums all in a free range setting. Features include a koala village and a display of research material from the Tasmanian Tiger Search. Shows involving koalas, wombats and Tasmanian devils are held three times a day.
• Honey Factory
  Try some of Tassie's unique leatherwood honey and other varieties at the local Honey Factory. Tours and sales available.
• Devil's Gullet Lookout
  Check out the views from the Devil's Gullet Lookout, on top of a sheer 600m cliff with 180° views of the Fisher River Valley.
