Oatlands Travel Guide
Oatlands accommodation, Oatlands activities and attractions, Oatlands maps, transportation to and around Oatlands - the ALL NEW Jasons Oatlands Destination Travel Guide is your complete visitor guide for Oatlands.

Oatlands has over 150 original sandstone buildings, the largest number in an Australian village. Much of the stone used in the Oatland's buildings was quarried from the shores of Lake Dulverton, a man-made lake next to the town, which is now a wildlife sanctuary.
Oatlands was established in 1827 as a military garrison, and was once a contender for the state capital. Its heritage has been preserved with historic tearooms, antique shops, heritage walks and colonial accommodation. There is excellent trout fishing at nearby Lakes Sorrell and Crescent.
