Stanley Travel Guide
Stanley accommodation, Stanley activities and attractions, Stanley maps, transportation to and around Stanley - the ALL NEW Jasons Stanley Destination Travel Guide is your complete visitor guide for Stanley.

The village of Stanley is classed by many who visit as the most picturesque town in
Tasmania, and in 2005 was voted 6th top spot to see in
Australia by the Australian Traveller magazine. A registered historic town, Stanley is rich in cultural heritage, arts and crafts with a wealth of colonial buildings offering visitor attractions and accommodation.
Stanley nestles at the end of a peninsula dominated by a striking ancient rocky outcrop called The Nut. This natural feature, a lava plug rising to 152m with sheer cliffs on three sides and connected to the mainland by a 7km isthmus, is Tasmania's most-photographed landmark. An extended stay in Stanley provides the opportunity to experience some of Tasmania's best wilderness and wildlife activities.
