Grampians Travel Guide

Grampians accommodation, Grampians activities and attractions, Grampians maps, transportation to and around Grampians - the ALL NEW Jasons Grampians Destination Travel Guide is your complete visitor guide for Grampians.

The Grampian Mountains, at the extreme western edge of the Great Dividing Range in the far west of Victoria, are a series of rocky peaks renowned for their climbing opportunities and walking trails. These mountains form the centrepiece of The Grampians National Park which protects a host of colourful wildflower species, prolific wildlife and a rich heritage of Aboriginal rock art dating back 10,000 years.

A 160km network of marked walking trails, ranging from easy to challenging, criss-crosses the park. The sealed Mt Victory Road links the attractions of Boroka Lookout, Reed Lookout, Mackenzie Falls and Zumstein – a favourite grassy picnic area where large numbers of kangaroos congregate. Adventure activities include rock-climbing, abseiling, canoeing and horse-riding tours.

The gateway to this area is Halls Gap, a unique village that sits on the valley floor and offers a wide range of accommodation, eateries and tourist facilities.
