Mansfield. This alpine village, with quaint lodges and luxury hotels positioned for skiing right up to their front doors, is also home to the Australian Institute of Winter Sports and an Olympic Training Centre.
The skifields are vast and varied. There is an extensive lift system including a chair lift from the car park to the skifields, and Australia's highest-capacity snow-making system supplements snow on the beginner and intermediate slopes.
