Gracious Como is set on 5 acres of historic garden overlooking the Yarra River. Built in 1847, Como is an unusual mix of Australian Regency and Italianate styles of architecture. The house provides a rare insight into the lives of Melbourne society and for 95 years was the home of the Armytage family who were prominent graziers and well-known members of Melbourne Society. This famous estate was designed by a master of 19th-century garden design, William Sangster. Open 10am-5pm 7 days a week (closed Christmas Day/Good Friday)
