  • Pioneer Settlement Museum
    Australia's first heritage museum, portrays a 19th century Murray River Settlement in the Mallee. Famous for its unique display and activation of what were once everyday items. The settlement has numerous historic displays, local Aboriginal culture and a huge collection of vintage equipment and vehicles, with paddle-steamer cruises, horse-drawn wagon rider and an evening Sound and Light Show.     Located 17km north of Swan Hill this historic homestead is open to the public Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am - 11am. Other times by appointment. Tyntynder has a small museum of pioneering and Aboriginal relics, a wine cellar and beautiful gardens.
