Broome Travel Guide
Broome accommodation, Broome activities and attractions, Broome maps, transportation to and around Broome - the ALL NEW Jasons Broome Destination Travel Guide is your complete visitor guide for Broome.
Broome enjoys a sense of timelessness brought about by the balmy tropical weather it enjoys all year round. It was founded in 1861 with the discovery of the giant pinctada pearlshells in Roebuck Bay. Since then, it has grown into a unique town with a multicultural society that evolved from Japanese, Malay and Koepanger divers and Chinese shopkeepers. The town is a gateway to the exotic Kimberley region and departure point for tours to Geike, Windjana and Manning Gorges, and Tunnel Creek.
