  • Wildflower tours of the Midlands
    Visit the quaint towns with their historic homesteads and museums while enjoying the wildflower spectacle in this area.
  • Gunbarrel Highway and Canning Stock Route
    Two of Australia’s famous 4WD tracks (Wiluna east to NT border, and Wiluna north to Halls Creek), not for the faint-hearted.
  • Kalbarri National Park
    A spectacular wildflower area with prolific wildlife centred around the lower reaches of the Murchison River. Accessed from the nearby beach resort of Kalbarri, which is renowned for its great fishing.
  • Geraldton

  • Carnarvon

  • Mt Augustus National Park

  • Ningaloo Marine Park
    This 260km of reef protects a lagoon rich in marine life, including dugongs, whale sharks, humpback whales dolphins, turtles, rare starfish and coral formations. Ideal conditions year round for fishing, snorkelling and diving.
  • Dampier
    The port for the iron ore industry, Dampier was custom built on beautiful Hampton Harbour to service some of the biggest ships in the world. Offshore the Dampier Archipelago is a group of 42 islands (25 are nature reserves) and numerous shipwrecks. Activities include sailing, diving, whale watching, swimming, dugong and dolphin spotting, bushwalking and exploring old whaling stations.
  • Tom Price
    This famous iron ore mining town at the heart of the Pilbara was established in 1962. Its proximity to the spectacular Hamersley Range (Karijini National Park) and opportunities to view the open cut mining operations have put it on the tourist map.
  • Port Hedland
    Originally established as a pearling port, Port Hedland is now the international gateway to the area’s unique attractions.
  • Purnululu (Bungle Bungle) National Park
    Thousands of fascinating striped bee-hive shaped mounds caused by erosion and ancient river movements. Scenic flights or 4WD access.
  • Lake Argyle
    This massive inland sea (12 times the volume of Sydney Harbour) less than an hour from Kununurra was created when the Ord River was dammed for irrigation. Boat cruises or scenic flights.
  • Windjana Gorge National Park
    A 350-million-year-old escarpment formation with fossils within the gorge walls located on the Gibb River Road east of Derby and best viewed by a 4km easy walking trail.
  • Geike Gorge National Park
    A sheer walled gorge follows the course of the Fitzroy River north of Fitzroy Crossing.
  • Wolfe Creek Crater
    The world’s second largest meterorite crater, 150km south of Halls Creek.
  • Prince Regent Nature Reserve
    An expansive river reserve with prolific wildlife including crocodiles, sharks and giant turtles and the majestic King Cascades. River cruises or scenic flights.
  • Broome
    Once the pearling capital of the world, Broome is now a popular resort destination that also acts as the start or end point for a tour of the Kimberley region. Its colourful cosmopolitan history provides the town with numerous attractions such as Chinatown, Japanese Cemetery and the Court House best seen as part of the Broome Heritage Trail.
  • Cable Beach
    Broome’s famous 22km stretch of pristine white sand and turqoise water. Tourist activities include camel rides along the beach and paragliding. At full moon view the natural phenomenon “staircase to the moon”.
