Set on the sunset side of Aitutaki! Are Tamanu is the traditional name for the land our beach hotel is built on; it literally means house of the mahogany tree. In keeping with this name our 12 luxury bungalows feature tamanu floors and Cook Island-style thatched roofs. Each bungalow includes a king size bed, full kitchen, fridge/freezer, gas cooker and microwave, separate bathroom and hair dryer. There is a breakfast bar and the outdoor deck with dining set for four. Enjoy evening cocktails on the deck around our freshwater pool and a barbecue on Sundays. Our private white sand beach borders Aitutaki's superb lagoon, providing you with swimming, snorkelling and canoeing opportunities. Complimentary to all our guests are masks, snorkels, pushbikes and tropical breakfasts. Available are an onsite rental motorbike, guest laundry, barbecue facilities and tour desk.
