Papageno is an up-market resort located on Kadavu Island – a car-free oasis with white sand beaches and ancient volcanoes. There is a variety of oceanside bures or garden rooms for you to chose from. All rooms have ensuite washrooms, ceiling fans, Fijian masks and tapa cloth. Traditionally woven mats and large screened windows give guests full access to expansive ocean or garden views.

Surrounded by a healthy reef and with the wreck of the Pacific Voyager just beyond, Papageno's is ideal for snorkeling and diving. Kayaking, hiking, day trips, waterfall walks, weaving and fishing are also on offer.

Dining at Papageno is a truly delightful culinary experience as we grow our own fruits and vegetables organically.

Papageno works to maintain cultural solidarity by preserving local traditions, land and fishing territories as well as supporting the education of the local children. Kadavu is also home to countless natural wonders including species of birds not found anywhere else in the world!
