Things to Do in Kadavu

• Diving
  Beneath the surface, Kadavu's pristine waters offer excellent visibility, with gardens of hard and soft corals, vertical walls, caves and brilliant tropical fish of every species. Good dive sites can be found around Soso Passage and Naiqoro Passage.
• Surfing
  Kadavu's surf resorts offer world-class and beginner breaks. Surfing is good around Cape Washington, at the southern-most end of Kadavu, and at Vesi Passage, off Matava.
• Sea kayaking
  Sea-kayaking expeditions stop overnight in resorts and villages. Snorkelling, trekking and beach picnics are all part of the experience.
• Hiking & Birdwatching
  On land, the lush rainforest, mountain ranges, bush trails and waterfalls are a delight for hikers, and local guides can show you the birdlife unique to the island, including the rare Kadavu parrot.
