Things to Do in Pacific Harbour

Things to see and do in Pacific Harbour, Pacific Harbour highlights, Pacific Harbour activities and attractions, and points of interest in Pacific Harbour - the ALL NEW Jasons Pacific Harbour Things to Do Guide is your complete guide to sightseeing in Pacific Harbour.

  • Beqa Island
The small rugged island of Beqa has several resorts and eight villages, some of which still practise the ancient art of firewalking. The island's coral reef is famous for its dive sites, and there is good swimming and snorkelling.
  • Navua
East of Pacific Harbour, the township of Navua along the banks of the Navua River serves mainly as a market, and you can see local farmers bringing their produce into town on bilibili rafts and the local river taxis. The town is also a base for river rafting adventures.
  • Yanuca Island
Located in Beqa lagoon, Yanuca Island is known for its beautiful beaches and surfing at Frigates Passage, south of the island. Yanuca Island is also popular with day trippers and divers, and has a single small village, and a surf camp.
  • Golf
You can practise your swing at the 18-hole Pearl Championship Golf Course & Country Club. Set in beautiful tropical rainforest with winding waterways, this challenging 72 par course is designed by Robert Trent Jones Junior and is said to be one of the most adventurous in the world.
  • Diving
Beqa Adventure Divers and Aqa-Trek Beqa visit dive spots in the Beqa Lagoon, famous for its soft coral dives. There are also shark encounters and shark dives for the adventurous.
  • Zip Fiji
Feel the rush as you soar high through the rainforest with Zip Fiji - the only canopy zip lines in the South Pacific.
  • Rivers Fiji RaftingTours
Inflatable raft and kayak tours head down the Navua and Luva Rivers and into the rugged Namosi valley. Longer excursions include a village stay and cultural activities.
  • Fishing
There is excellent hand-line, sports and game fishing in Beqa Lagoon. Tours and charters depart from Pacific Harbour.
  • Surfing
Frigates Passage off Yanuca Island is a world-class break for experienced surfers only. You can get there from either Pacific Harbour or the surf camp on Yanuca Island.
  • Cruises/Watersports
There is kayaking, jet-skiing, horse-boarding, banana boat rides and snorkelling on the lagoon, plus glassbottom boat tours to view the coral, and day cruises across to the island of Yanuca.
  • Guided Walks
One to four day guided treks take walkers across the Namosi Highlands, with camping overnight at the villages.
