  • Mamanuca and Yasawa Cruises
Excursions to the nearby islands of the Mamanuca and Yasawa groups can be arranged from Nadi, including day cruises with snorkelling and diving options.
  • Viseisei Village
The first Fijians landed at this village 3000 years ago, and it is regarded as the ‘foundation village’ of Fijian heritage and culture. Located near Nadi, visitors can witness how the early Fijians live and see authentic Fijian handcrafts.
  • Waqadra Botanical Gardens
Close to Nadi, Fiji’s largest privately owned gardens are open from Monday to Saturday.
  • Abaca Cultural Park
Located 10km east of Lautoka, the park is part of Koroyanitu National Park. There are beautiful bushwalks, waterfalls, archaeological sites and lush native rainforest.
  • Mt Victoria
Fiji’s highest peak is easily reached from Nadi and has three native reserves.
  • Ba & Rakiraki
A large Indian town on the Sunshine Coast known for its magnificent mosque and colourful bazaar. North of Ba is Rakiraki, the home of Ratu Udre, a 19th century chief and Fiji's last known cannibal. His tomb at the town junction is surrounded by 999 stones, which testify to the number of people he is said to have eaten.
  • Ovalau Island
Southeast of Suva, the offshore island of Ovalau is home to Levuka, Fiji's historic first capital, and a national heritage site. Ovalau offers a chance for visitors to experience traditional Fijian community and culture.
  • Suva
As well as excellent shopping and nightlife, Fiji's vibrant harbour capital has a wide range of activities for visitors including a pool, gym, golf course, bowling club, yacht club, tennis and squash.
  • Pacific Harbour
Featuring an 18-hole championship golf course, inland waterway, luxury villas and a cultural centre showcasing Fijian artists, musicians and craftspeople. There is a host of activities including diving, sailing, skiing, volleyball, jet skiing and white-water rafting.
  • Beqa Island
The island of Beqa (pronounced Benga) is home to Fiji’s legendary firewalkers and a world-renowned diving site. Famous dives include Caesar's Rocks, Side Streets and the wreck of the Tasu No. 2. Beqa can be visited from Pacific Harbour.
  • Coral Coast
In addition to the excellent swimming and surfing, visitors to the Coral Coast can see the ruins of an old fort at Tavunui Hill and the rock formations of the Naihehe Caves. River trips on the Sigatoka River, rainforest treks and swimming beneath a freshwater waterfall are other options.
  • Coral Coast Scenic Railway
A restored diesel sugar train offers scenic rides along the coast to lovely Natadola Beach, with its idyllic setting and white sand.
  • The Sigatoka Sand Dunes
On the Coral Coast, these archaeological digs have uncovered skeletons and artefacts dating back to 15BC. Further inland the Sigatoka Valley is an interesting area to visit with its agricultural fields, villages (both Fijian and Indian), temples and scenic hilly landscape. Sigatoka is famous for its duty-free shopping and pottery.
