Hello. How are you? = Bonjour. Comment ça va?
I’m fine, thanks = Ça va bien, merci
Good evening = Bonsoir
Goodbye = Au revoir
Please = S’il vous plaît
Yes = Oui
No = Non
Excuse me, where is the…? = Pardon, ou se trouve…?
What time is it? = Quelle heure est-il?
How much is it? = Combien ça coute?
I’m hungry = J’ai faim
I’m thirsty = J’ai soif
I would like… = Je voudrais…
Bread = Le pain
Coffee (with milk) = Un café (crème)
Tea = Un thé
Beer = Une bière
White wine = Le vin blanc
Red wine = Le vin rouge
Cold drink = Une boisson fraîche
The bill, please = L’addition, s’il vous plaît
Doctor = Le médecin
Police = La police
Bank = La banque
Airport = L’aèroport
Car (rental) = Voiture (de location)
A taxi please = Un taxi, s’il vous plaît
Bus = L’autobus
What is it? = Qu’est-ce que c’est?
Petrol station = La station d’essence
