Twin Gullies offers the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty and history of Banks Peninsula. Guests have the choice of either The Barn or The Stable: two self-contained converted farm buildings, surrounded by native bush and glorious gardens.

Both lodgings are lofts and have tea & coffee, fridge, TV and CD player. The Barn has two upstairs bedrooms with bathroom and toilet. The Stable has one bedroom with bathroom below. Both have magnificent views across Barrys Bay and Oanwe Peninsula out to Akaroa Heads. Breakfast is delivered to your room or, if you prefer, there's The Cabana, where you can enjoy birdsong and fresh air with your morning repast.

Twin Gullies is at the top of Akaroa Harbour on SH75. There are five acres to explore and enjoy, with spectactular views and all the peace and privacy you could wish for. The Duvauchelle Hotel and a golf course are only two minutes away, and also close by are Barrys Bay Cheese Factory and French Farm Winery. There are some great walking tracks, and further round the harbour, good swimming at Wainui. Harbour cruises, swimming with dolphins, kayaking and the cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques of Akaroa are only 10 kilometres away. Twin Gullies is ideally positioned for our guests to either relax, or use as a base to explore all Banks Peninsula has to offer.
