Broken River Ski-field
Broken River provides superb, affordable alpine adventure. It is situated in the middle of the Craigieburn Range in the Southern Alps and its Southeast facing aspect provides mid day sun over three large open basins.
The terrain is a series of rolling bowls with awesome runs to challenge all levels of snowboarders and skiers from beginner to expert.

- Christchurch - located 123km from Broken River ski area
- Arthur's Pass - nestled in a steep, forest-clad valley, the village is a good base for visitors to the surrounding ski areas.
- Darfield - with amazing views of Mount Hutt and the Torlesse Ranges and close to the skifields.
- Oxford - located under the foothills of Mt Oxford and a great place to get back to nature.
