Auckland Art Gallery holds the most extensive collection of national and international art in New Zealand. A public art gallery located in the centre of Auckland City, it exhibits work from its collection along with a programme of national and international touring exhibitions. The Gallery is open daily 10am to 5pm, and holds an extensive range talks and events, including free guided tours every day at 2pm. There is also the popular Sunday Kids Club every weekend at 11am and 2pm. The Gallery had an impressive research library open to the public Tuesday and Wednesday 10.30amˆ4pm. The Gallery is situated in the heart of Auckland city adjacent to Albert Park and within easy walking distance of the Britomart transport centre.
