Thermal Pools
There are several natural hot-water springs within Greater Auckland:

• Miranda Hot Springs (Thames Highway, Miranda)
  These outdoor thermal pools are not on a public transport route and private transport is required.
• Aquatic Park Parakai Springs (Parkhurst Road, Parakai)
  Located west of Auckland, the complex offers thermal pools, a hydroslide and camping facilities.
• Palm Springs (Parkhurst Road, Parakai)
  A smaller, quieter complex opposite Aquatic Park.
• Waiwera Infinity Thermal Resort & Spa (37 Waiwera Place, Waiwera)
  Located north of Auckland just past Orewa, this popular complex offers outdoor thermal pools, private spa pools, a movie screen and a luxury health resort.

Swimming Pools

• Tepid Baths (Sturdee Street, City)
  Located within the Viaduct Harbour complex, the recently refurbished baths offer a heated pool, gymnasium, sauna and spa facilities and café. There are swimming, aerobics and aquarobic classes available.
• Philips Aquatic Centre (Alberton Avenue, Mount Albert)
  Auckland's first wave pool, as well as a hydroslide, spa, sauna and steam room and an eight-lane 25 metre competition pool.
• Olympic Pool and Fitness (Broadway, Newmarket)
  Olympic-size pool, sauna and steam room, spa and café.
• Point Erin Lido Pools (Shelly Beach Road, Herne Bay)
  Outdoor seawater pools with diving boards, picnic area. Open during summer only (October to April).
• Parnell Baths (Judges Bay, Parnell)
  Outdoor seawater pools with diving boards, slides, picnic area and kiosk. Open during summer only (October to April).
