• Goldfields Jet
  Goldfields Jet gives you the full experience, the majesty of the scenery, the challenge of the rugged land, and the heart-stopping thrill of taming the surging Kawarau River by high-powered jetboat.
• Goldfields Mining Centre
  Located in the old stone courthouse, this historic precinct is now a popular centre for arts and crafts, and features a collection of mining relics.
• Old Cromwell Town
  Located at the bottom of Melmore Terrace, this recreation of an early gold rush town operates mid-December to the end of January, and provides a setting for cottage industries.
• Goldfields Heritage Trail
  A drive that takes in the region's key historic goldmining sites and their pioneering history. Sites on the trail are marked by the distinctive gold panning miner logo. Details are available from the Visitor Information Centre.
• Bungy Jumping
  Thrillseekers can opt for a bungy jump at the Nevis High Wire Bungy and at the old Kawarau suspension bridge, built in 1880.
• Lake Dunstan
  Formed when the Clyde Dam power station was created, the lake offers fishing, rowing, boating, swimming and windsurfing, as well as pleasant picnic sites.
