100km of golden sands, home to 153 known shipwreck sites, stretching from Maunganui Bluff down to the waters of the Kaipara Harbour and Pouto Point. Taylor Made Tours will introduce you to Ripiro Beach and surrounding areas. Although relatively unknown today, the Kaipara was once New Zealand's busiest harbour, giving trading access to the ports of Helensville, Port Albert and Dargaville and was the gateway to many early pioneers and settlers. An area once rich in kauri forest, we are fortunate to have Waipoua Forest and Trounson Park to showcase these magnificent age-old giants of the forest.
