Things to Do in Doubtless Bay Area

• Mangonui
  This charming waterfront town is known for its craft shops, cafés and historic kauri buildings, including an old coaching inn.
• Watersports
  Go kayaking or swimming in beautiful bush-fringed bays or head out into the bay for scubadiving. The mouth of the bay has good game fishing.
• Karikari Peninsula
  The Karikari Peninsula forms the northwestern arm of the bay and includes the broad sweep of Tokerau Beach and attractive Whatuwhiwhi Beach.
• Cape Reinga
  There are magnificent sea views from this iconic landmark. The historic lighthouse sits perched high above the meeting point of the Pacific Ocean and Tasman Seas.
• Ninety Mile Beach
  This wild stretch of sand and surf is a popular with tour buses, which drive visitors along the sand en route to Cape Reinga. The beach is actually about 100km (64 miles).
