November 2009 marks 20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989, and Novemberkinder (November Children) is the name of New Zealand's first ever German Film Festival featuring 20 films to mark those 20 historic years, opening with 'Novemberkind' (November Child). The wealth of stories and anecdotes around reunification continue to be a source of inspiration for films like 'Goodbye Lenin' and 'The Lives of Others'.
