The Silverstream Gallery is at Kimbell, 8km from Fairlie on the inland tourist route to Lake Tekapo and Queenstown, and overlooks the Mt Dobson Skifield. It specialises in original art with a New Zealand flavour, particularly the scenery from the lower South Island. Featured are oils and watercolours by accomplished NZ artist Randall. We also have a large number of guest artists’ works on display. Silverstream Gallery is owned by Lloyd Harwood, a watercolourist who also specialises in superb pencil portraits from photos, a very popular service for travelers. Photos for these can be supplied by you, or taken free at the gallery. Major credit cards are accepted. Works can be shipped, insured, anywhere in the world. Stop at our picturesque village, linger a while, sample our art, and feel free to make use of our picnic tables. Open daily 9am to 5pm all year round.
