Things to Do in Feilding

• Feilding Clock Tower
  Located in Manchester Square, the 1902 Town Clock was restored in 1999 after 56 years in a box, and placed in a newly built heritage-style tower.
• Heritage Walk
  A Guided Walk is available on request at the Visitor Centre, taking in the town's heritage buildings.
• Horsedrawn Era Museum (Bowen St)
  A showcase of relics dating from this historic era. Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Other days by appointment.
• Steam Rail Museum (Railways Yards)
  View the restored WAB794 engine and the work being carried out on carriages and dining car. Open Saturdays or by arrangement.
• Homeprint (11 Sandilands Street)
  Visit a unique art and craft technology centre housed in a 120 year old home.
• Livestock Centre
  The town's saleyards have been operating since the 1880s. Twice weekly stock sales are a major drawcard for farmers, and for visitors wanting to experience a taste of rural life.
• Motorsport
  Feilding's Manfeild Park boasts the word-renowned Autocourse. Regular car, truck and motorcylce racing draws visitors as does the Aquatrak circuit for Jetsprint boats. The Manfeild Racing Driver School operates courses, with students attending from all around the world.
• Gardens
  The town boasts many beautiful gardens to visit. These include Cross Hills Gardens at Kimbolton (rhododendrons), Fragrant Gardens in Port St Feilding (herbs), Shady Acres at Oroua Downs (roses), Otara Birch Gardens (dahlias & irises) and Pukemarama, a historic garden in 19th century formal English style. Many private gardens are also open for viewing by arrangement.
• Crafts

  Manawatu's own range of natural health, herbal and honey products harvested and produced by local operators.
• Wanganui Manawatu Gliding Club
  Based at Feilding Aerodrome, it offers trail flights on weekends and public holidays.
