Coal Pit Vineyard is a small family owned vineyard (12 hectares) in Gibbston, Central Otago 20 minutes from Queenstown. The vineyard was first planted in 1994 making it one of the oldest vineyards in Gibbston. All grapes are handpicked off this single vineyard and wines are now crafted in our new on-site, state-of-the-art winery. Our award-winning Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc is made only from our vineyard. Open by appointment.
