BW CAMPGROUNDS was born to help host the thousands of visitors venturing to the district for the Rhythm and Vines New Years Eve festival which just happens to be easily the dopest party of the year. BW Camping Festival is much more than a rest stop for the Rhythm and Vines New Years Eve festival. With the Jim Beam Soundshell hosting The Black Seeds, Rhombus, Katchafire, The Potbelleez, Concord Dawn and many more. BW encompasses everything that is a kiwi summer. First of all you have the epic road trip, then the great NZ music, surf, sunshine, beautiful beaches, camping, good company and lets not forget epic parties! This is what a NZ summer time is all about! Your days at BW can be spent laxing in the sun on one of Gissy’s many beautiful beaches, surfing at any of the many regions famous breaks, enjoying a day trip down to Morere Hot Springs or up to the famous natural rock slide at Rere. You may wish to just kick back in the camp listening to the tunes banging out all day, playing some touch or volleyball before later on checking out the New Wave Bikini Jam. Come night time you can chill out with friends around your campsite over a few drinks before heading over to the Jim Beam Sound Shell to check out all the entertainment on offer, free for campers.
