  • Cathedral Cove

  • Hahei Coastal Walkway
    This hilly coastal walk (45min) off Hahei Beach Road leads along bush-lined ridges to Cathedral Cove, affording dramatic seaviews.
  • Hahei Marine Reserve
    The Coromandel's first marine reserve incorporates the offshore area from Cooks Bluff to Hahei. Diving and snorkelling are popular here, and the reefs and sea caves are teeming with marine life.
  • Hot Water Beach
    Visitors can dig in the sand either side of low tide to create their own thermal spa pool. The beach has lovely white sand but swimming is not advisable due to strong rips.
