Located in the beautiful Rogerson Valley, a mere 10 minute drive from central Hanmer Springs, you will find the home of the Hanmer Horses. Ride one of our quality horses high into the forest, crossing clear mountain streams and then onto our farm hills through grazing stock, to give you possibly the best views of the surrounding area. We keep our groups small to give you a unique experienced whether you are a first time rider or one with a lifetime of experience. Our 1 hr ride is suitable for children over 5 years, beginners or those who haven’t ridden for some time – mostly walking, but trotting where possible. Tuition is given before the ride and continued along the way. The 2.5hr ride can have heaps of trotting and even the scope for cantering, depending on experience levels. Our horses are well schooled and responsive, guides helpful and friendly. Open all year round.
