Our 112-year-old villa, set in nearly an acre of seasonal gardens, has been lovingly restored and adorned with yesteryear's furniture and today's lovely rich colours which enhance the enchanting architecture of older homes. John and Diane Barrett are in their early 50s but very active in both their sports - John, orienteering and Diane, horse endurance riding. Both of us have enjoyed travel throughout New Zealand and abroad.

We also have a lifestyle block just fifteen minutes from our home which overlooks the Kaipara Harbour - ideal for people who would like to do a farm walk and see Arab horses, cattle, calves and exotic arapawa sheep.

We have been hosting Bed and Breakfast guests for 13 years and look forward to welcoming you to our home or 2 modern self-contained studio cottages with fireplaces!
