Experience farm life or simply relax on a working farm, 1 hour south of Auckland and only 4km off SH1. Our bedrooms are well appointed with generous king/twin beds with quality linens and comforters, and private facilities. We also have a small self contained cottage available.

Families are welcome. Our spacious family room includes a selection of books and toys. Dinner, bed and breakfast is a speciality and we are renowned for the ‘Farm to Fork’ dining experience we offer. Savour the flavour of food that has travelled mere metres from land to table.

While our gardens provide lovely quiet spots for reading, writing or unwinding, we also have a good selection of gumboots available if you want to be more active! Parnassus is a dairy farm milking 350 cows, and guests are welcome to view the milking and become acquainted with our many varied animals including sheep, pigs and miniature horses. You can even feed the hens and gather your breakfast eggs if you feel so inclined.

We are very centrally located for day trips to the thermal wonderlands of Rotorua and Taupo, and to either east or west coast beaches. Farm, bush and wetland walks are easily accessible and there is a beautiful 18-hole golf course just a few kilometres along the road.

Parnassus is an easy 1 hour drive from Auckland International Airport, making it an excellent way to start or end your stay in New Zealand.
